What Is FTD?
Family Tech Day (FTD) is an event designed to promote the important of technology in our community. Through this event we hope to encourage our youth, especially those in under privileged communities to seek opportunities to learn and explore technology. We do this to fun, exciting and interactive displays at our annual tech day event.

FunZone with great interactive activities like Video Games, a Computer Chop Shop, learn how to upgrade your computer, find our about the latest technology and electronics from area retailers plus check out the Food Court with FREE refreshments!

According to a study by the National Science Foundation, fewer than 6,000 of the 52,500 computer science graduates in the U.S. in 2004 were Black. "The shallow pool of skills is due, in part, to the lack of minorities being drawn into technology," said NSBE executive director Carl Mack, in a statement.
